How to Add a Domain Name to ClickFunnels
In this blog post, we’ll be discussing how to add a domain name to ClickFunnels. For those of you who may not know, ClickFunnels is an online sales and marketing funnel builder that allows users to create beautiful, high-converting funnels with ease. A key part of any funnel is the domain name, which is what we’ll be covering today. So, without further ado, let’s get started!
Adding a Domain Name to ClickFunnels
The first thing you’ll need to do is log into your ClickFunnels account and click on the “Account” tab in the top right-hand corner. From there, you’ll scroll down to the “Domains” section and click on the “Add Domain” button.
Next, you’ll need to select the type of domain you want to use. ClickFunnels offers three different types of domains: a standard domain (e.g., yourdomain.com), a subdomain (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com), or an alias domain (e.g., mydomain.com). For our purposes, we’ll be using a standard domain.
Once you’ve selected the type of domain you want to use, you’ll need to enter your desired domain name in the “Domain Name” field and select your desired extension from the drop-down menu (e.g., .com, .net, .org). Once you’ve done that, click on the “Check Availability” button to see if your desired domain name is available.
If your desired domain name is available, congratulations! You can now proceed to the next step. If it’s not available, don’t worry; simply try another variation until you find one that’s available.
The next step is to select your hosting plan. For most people, the “Basic” plan will suffice; however, if you have a larger website or are expecting a lot of traffic, you may want to consider upgrading to the “Pro” plan. Once you’ve selected your hosting plan, click on the “Add Domain” button again and wait for your new domain to be added to ClickFunnels!
Bottom Line
Adding a domain name to ClickFunnels is a simple process that anyone can do in just a few minutes time. All you need is a desired domain name and an understanding of which type of domain (standard, subdomain, or alias) best suits your needs. With that said, go forth and add some domains to your ClickFunnels account today!
